| I quite liked Planet Of Giants. An interesting idea and well realised for It's time. |

It's interesting that everyone's picking different stories, so far.
I chose The Dalek Invasion of Earth (so I'm batting well on the DVD release front for Billy). One of the things I like about it is that it is (shock, horror) a sequel. The depiction of the post-disaster society is quite well done, the Daleks are (even more than their first story) a formidable foe, and there's even character development for one of our regulars, as Susan grows up.
The other obvious chices for me from this season are The Crusade and (dare I admit it?) The Web Planet. However, they both lack any lines about a jolly good spanked bottom so must fail the excellence test! |

| I have to say I haven't seen much of this season, so my vote has to go for one of the few I have seen (half of it, anyway), namely The Crusade. Jolly good romp, etc etc. |

Definately The Crusade. The acting and drama (particularly between King Richard and Joanna) was very gripping.
It's so difficult choosing a fav from the b&w's as this is my fav era of the show. There are just so many good stories.
I love the eerie feel of Time Meddler and The Romans is a very well thought out comedy. The Web Planet is the most ambitious and to me, very enjoyable. (You're not alone there Greg)
The next season is no easier to choose fav. |

| Time Meddler - because I like the idea of people trying to change history. Imagine of the Norman invasion was defeated! Our language would be very different. |
