What's your favourite story from the 1973 series?

This is one of those times when 'favourite' and 'best' aren't the same thing. The Three Doctors for me!

Frontier In Space is wonderful! Shame it wasn't shown in the latest reruns.

Frontier in Space for me as well. Although The Green Death was a childhood favourite, I borrowed Frontier on video from Arturo earlier tis year, and it was great. Didn't seem too padded, despite all the running about.

The banter between Troughton and Pertwee in The Three Doctors is priceless, as is The Brigadier

The Three Doctors yeah! Such a shame William Hartnell was too unwell to take part more fully.

The Three Doctors. So much better than the Five Doctors. The Green Death wouldn't be far behind. Just about everyone on the planet remembers the giant green maggots.

Frontier In Space. Could not understand why this story gets bagged a lot.

The other stories are not that much appealing.

The Three Doctors looks really silly and I can't find myself liking it in any way as Bill Hartnell looks like he is in complete agony and should have been in bed instead.

Carnival of Monsters is not as appealing in repeat viewings.

Planet of Daleks would have been fine except it is not all that clear why it is linked with Frontier In Space given how the latter story ended.

Don't like Green Death much because my favourite companion Jo Grant gets married to someone she just met. Don't like Stewart Bevan as Cliff Jones but he is 100 times better in his guest stint in the Blake's 7 episode Death-Watch.

For me - Frontier in Space closely followed by Planet of the Daleks.

Another thing is that the DVD notes presented Dave Martin's slight at Tom in a DWM interview which is not appropriate since it unfairly prejudiced against Tom.
