So the ABC removed this for copyright reasons? Will we ever seen any more of the classic Dalek eps?

In the Collectors edition on Thursday which looked at Doctor Who fan Mark Damon's collection of fan memorabilia (and there is a thread about it in the Relative Dimension section) host Andy Muirhead gave this tip to Doctor Who fans in reference to the Dalek in the studio saying that it maybe the last we see of a Dalek. Or is it? He could be referring to the status of the classic Dalek stories on the ABC.

Yeah, I saw that Collectors episode - quite good. I thought perhaps he ment the new series, but you could be right. I hope so as you can't have Who without the Daleks.

I think that was more to do with the new series and that we were left with Rose having come along and magically erased all the Daleks. No doubt the Daleks have yet another ressurection in them.

So the 2nd Doctor knew of his trial by the Timelords and that Jamie and Zoe's memories were erased - how much sense does that one make Confused
And a post Mawdryn Undead Brigadier encountering the 2nd Doctor?
They also left Bessie in the death zone.

This is part of the "Season 6b theory" - that the 2nd doctor had more adventures between his trial and his regeneration - including The Five Doctors.

I'd say she would of been returned to her rightful time zone when the Doctors were, yes?

So Rasillon and those other guys are immortal. So what has happened to them after the destruction of Gallifrey?

Depends if you mean 'immortal - can't be killed' or 'immortal - lives forever'. If the former, their immortal parts may be floating around in space and time...

With that season 6B theory; might that have been a good story to tell - IF Gallifrey was still around - where the Doctor could uncover some massive Timelord conspiracy involving his memory being wiped.

I reckon by the time we see Doc #13 they will come up with an idea that he drept it all up or was somehow hypnotised and brainwashed by the Master and it false, etc plus the Timelord's grant him another 13 lifes for getting them out of a trapped universe, etc, etc...

I have a feeling we will see Doctor Who go on for many years to come with many DVD's and Boxset ...even if it's only 13 episodes per year Smile

I only hope that Doc #10 is a better actor then Doc #9...

What don't you like about Eccleston? I'm interested to hear.

And actually, I think the series really should end with the death of the thirteenth Doctor. Any extension is just commercialism in my eyes, and anyway, there are always the books and audios to fall back on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was reading through plot sypnoses for the BBC Eighth Doctor series, and from what I read about Gallifrey being destroyed it didn't seem to have anything to do with the Daleks, or the Time War in general. Considering this is the official BBC novels, what the hell? As I said, if I'm wrong, I apologise.

Too much overacting and silly faces...

It probably will but that will be a few years because look how long it took to bring him back!

Ewwww......Very fanwanky. I personally hope that RTD wraps up the 13th life of the Doctor on an emotional high and finally puts his travels to rest.

I'd love to see the Doctor live on with his 'hero' stamp firmly on the universe.

But 13 lives should be the end of it.

IMO of course.

On a side note, David Tennant has done a very good job with 'post regenerative madness' in his 5 minute Children in Need clip. As good an actor as he is though, I would have preferred someone older in the role.

Do we know for a fact that the Dalek was in the original aired version? Which would be the base for this one.

Could it be that the Dalek in just in the VHS/DVD version, which i understand has an extra 10 minutes of footage included.
That would explain everything sufficiently.
i remember seeing this as a first run episode and yes the dalek was in it

So they offered the Master a new life-cycle with a fresh set of 12 Regeneratios. Couldn't Borusa just have done that to himself, rather than setting up this elabotrate game?

And what happened to The Master after The Brigadeir knocked him down, don't recall seeing him again.

I don't know about placing Sarah-Jane with the 3rd Doctor, the main companion for the 3rd Doctor was Jo. I would have liked to have see Jo back!
rasilon returned him to his place in space / time saying he will eventually get what he deserves ( can't remember the exact words but that was the meaning)
