Apparently the ABC has bought series 5 of "The West Wing" from Channel Nine and will show it from the start (Nine only showed 10 of the 20 odd episodes). Good news for hard done by fans! No official announcement yet though!

I just bought series 1-6 of "The West Wing" from Amazon UK and I'll show it in its entirety over the coming year. Good news for me! This is an official announcement!

This is very good news. Nine did not treat this show with the respect it deserved. I look forward to it being shown at a decent time. Three Cheers for the ABC.

I don't know what you mean, there have been ads plastered all over the ABC, and in every TV guide. Can't wait 'till it starts.

Anyone hoping to see this from the beginning (including me) is in for a disappointment as the ABC will be showing it from season 4:

20 Hours In America:
As a newcomer to the series I am not entirely aware what is going on. The gist of it is that there is a election campaign going on but don't really know what this Anthony has to do with C.J. (Allison Janney who I think looks absolutely lovely).
Also find Janel Moloney (Donna) very attractive as well.
Nice to know the difference between the Treasurer of the United States and the Treasury Secretary. I already know that Treasury Secretary is a member of Cabinet and the Treasurer is not. Here in Australia though it is the other way around.
Alan Dale (Commerce Secretary Bryce) was also Vice President Jim Prescott in 24.
Like that song that was played during the news of the pipe bombs.

College Kids:
Another 24 link as Glenn Morshower (Mike Chrysler) played Agent Aaron Pierce on 24.
CJ looks really good in a T-Shirt.
Aimee Mann sings in this episode. I of course had previously saw her in the Buffy episode Sleeper.

The Red Mass:
That was so misleading in the ABC preview of CJ being in a church only to turn out that she was sitting outside it.
I am quite shocked that sloppy candidates such as the guy with four heart attacks running in seats they have no hope of winning. I am pretty sure the major parties here don't preselect candidates that way in safe seats held by their opponents. McGarry says they needed to spend the resources where they are needed. However that is no excuse of not presenting a credible candidate even if the result is a forgone conclusion for the other side.

Looks like Marlee Matlin is in the next episode. I like Marlee Matlin.

Debate Camp:
Always nice to see Marlee Matlin even though I have no idea what her character is suppose to be.
Quite fun seeing the flashback from the past. I especially like CJ's hair back then.
I could be mistaken but I thought I heard reference to CTU as in the Counter Terrorist Unit from 24.

The tv guide that comes with the Sydney Sunday Telegraph has an interview with Allison Janney and Commander In Chief's Geena Davis as part of its cover story with the headline: "Revolution - Women take over the White House".

Election Night:
I have to say I really admire Donna after finding out that she voted for Richie by mistake instead of President Bartlet that she in terms of fairness looked for a Richie supporter to vote for the President instead. This leads to her and us meeting Christian Slater as Commander Jack Reese.
While President Bartlet celebrates his reelection, Sam looks worried that he may have to keep his promise to run for the congressional seat in Orange County if won by the already dead candidate Wilde.

Process Stories:
At the beginning, the deceased Wilde won the election at Orange County, everybody is cheering until it is reported that Sam is rumoured to be running for the seat. That was so funny.
Despite trying to back out of the promise to run, Sam is eventually persuaded to keep the promise although they don't think he has much chance of winning. Well good luck to him!
