While the Ice Warriors haven't had quite so many non-TV appearances as the Daleks and Cybermen, there are still a few...

from that list I'm only familiar with Legacy and Red Dawn which isn't enough to vote.

I enjoyed Legacy a lot more than I expected to - if I were to rank the NAs I've read to date it would come in above average.

And I've only read Mission to Magnus (so many years ago now I don't remember the story), and heard Red Dawn and Dance of the Dead. I 'think' I may have read Legacy but can't remember it.

I enjoyed both the audios above though. Contrary to popular opinion, I thought Red Dawn was quite good.

It sounds like you both need more Ice Warrior goodness in your life!

The novel The Dying Days is available online here.

You can also see the Radio Times comic strip here (the stories feature traditional elemnets such as Cybermen and Ice Warriors - including Ssard, an Ice Warrior who becomes a companion of the Doctor...).

Both feature the 8th Doctor.

I've read The Dying Days and Legacy and the RT strips, but none of the rest. I enjoyed The Dying Days thoroughly, so had to choose that. A few elements of it appeared in The Christmas Invasion, curiously. I wonder if that was by design... There was even an oblique reference to the Ice Warriors themselves. I'd love to see them making a 21st Century makeover comeback!

I have The Dying Days sitting on my shelf, but I have 30+ NAs to read before I get to it.
