I rang up ABC and asked them if they were going to show K9 & Company but they said they didn't have the rights to show it.

Wouldn't made much sense if they show it now (my opinion anyway since many people seems to forget or unaware that this even existed) unless of course they showed it early in the morning where hardly anyone will noticed it. This plus the fact that K-9 was mentioned as a gift from the Doctor and it has been a long time since viewers have seen Tom as the Fourth Doctor. Like I said before if the ABC had intended to show K-9 and Company they would have done so already between Logopolis & Castrovalva. So contacting the ABC about it was a waste of time.

As what I have been doing at 6pm since the classic series ended I been spending time playing with my niece and to think that I finally had free time. Oh well.

In the lead-up to the end of classic Who on the ABC, a ten-minute cartoon called Girl Stuff/Boy Stuff had been shown before Doctor Who began and which is still showing before 6. It's a fun cartoon. However did not watch it yesterday as 10 had a news report at that time of Megan Gale at a fashion show and I love Megan Gale. Watching Megan is just as good as watching Doctor Who. In fact when the return of classic Who on the ABC was a segment on George Negus Tonight just after The Unearthly Child on September 15 2003, one of the other topics on that show was an interview with Megan.

Channel 10 has been getting away with it for ages with The Simpsons.

The Simpsons still gets good ratings so that's why they show it all the time. I think so anyway.

I'd like to see Blake's 7, and any classic British show. I think the BRittas Empire would be GREAT! The DVDs are not subtitled sadly so I can't watch them but if they put the Brittas Empire on ABC, I'd be able to watch it again. I love that show!

The Goodies has been screening on UKTV so I'm not sure if the ABC would be able to show it Sad

Yeah, that really sucks. Commercial stations have a habit of snatching up the best of the ABC. And I refuse to watch anything with adverts (bar the news). Oh well, that's what DVD players are for I suppose...

Remembering of course, that the ABC is holding onto the repeat rights for Series One of the new series Smile.

You're in luck. As Time Goes By starts Friday 16/2 at 6pm.

I personally am always checking the Guide to see if they're putting the series on again, but I'm always bitterly disappointed. Last night I bloody dreamt they were on (I haven't actually seen any, I was just seeing 6:00 Doctor Who in the Guide. Imagine my disappointment when I woke up...

Thanks for that! I can't wait to watch it now. I hope Doctor Who is shown on TV again some day.

Monkey Magic and Danger Mouse! (Wow, I'd forgotten all about Danger Mouse. I'd love to see that show again).
The 1980s Astroboy would be great too.
