"'Osiris' Turns Up In Dr Who Ep 'Dalek'
New Zealand born actor Anna Louise Plowman, best known to Stargate SG-1 fans as the wily and deadly Goa'uld Osiris and one-time Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) love interest Sarah Gardner, showed her acting prowess in the Doctor Who episode Dalek earlier tonight in Australia
On Dalek Ms Plowman plays the part of the right-hand woman to the episode's bad-boy Henry van Statten. Dr Who airs 7:30pm Saturdays on Australia's ABC-TV" |
Theta Sigma you rule. I have been banging my head against sharp objects and small furry mammals trying to place that female actress. THANK YOU.

You're Welcome. In fact you seemed to be the only other person to recognise her. Oh well. |

Just finished watching this week's episode of Dead Ringers which I recorded on the ABC.
This includes Fiona Bruce announcing a Dalek hotline as a result of a Dalek being tortured in an episode of Doctor Who (obviously the episode "Dalek").
Also included were the BBC1 announcement of a show with terrifying creatures that sends kids behind the sofa on Saturdays. You would expect it to be Doctor Who but it is instead the Eurovision Song Contest.
India Fisher as Sharon Osbourne as she becomes a Celebrity Pimp. |

| I felt sorry for a Dalek and angry and disgusted at the Doctor! What is WRONG with me? This ep showed how powerful a good script and be. One of the best TV show eps I've ever seen, let along Doctor Who eps. |

It was a great episode. I got a shock to see the Dalek in chains. After all they were all killed in the Time War.
A stunning episode that shows how powerful a Dalek can be as well as give a little bit of detail on what the purpose of a Dalek is.
I also love Christopher Eccleston's acting in the episode. |

| That line about the Doctor making a good Dalek was one of the best in the episode. |

| Well, I faced a few problems in this. I consider this to be very good, but not the best. I also don't think it's the best since Genesis - Remembrance of the Daleks takes that title. So I was forced to give it the equivalent of 3/5 in the poll, which probably doesn't do it justice. Perhaps a simple 5/5, 4/5, 3/5 etc. poll would do it more justice. |

God Damn! I hated how they flew! There wouldn't be enough static electricity in the air to support a dalek!
And it opened incorrectly. Everyone knows daleks have flip top heads.
Also the voices have made them seem like they're spactic daleks! |

I work for ANZ and visited the south melbourne building yesterday - they have a yellow dalek next to the lifts - I almost died of happiness - and the person I was seeing there thought I was really odd when I said that I'm a huge dr who fan, I'm not sure he even knew where daleks are from |

| It was one of the most original Dalek stories since the original The Daleks in 1963... However, it is still second place to Genesis of the Daleks - but that's no insult... |

THE DALEKS CAN GET UP STAIRS *cries*
Hehe, seriously, I loved Dalek, it was a brilliant episode, very well made, and the acting was great! I mean, how could they not bring back the Daleks? |
