Well today i got my amazon uk order of series 2 with the cyberman head.
The head is made of hard plastic and it stuck on the front of a large grey box with no other logos or anything to mess it up.

Inside is the standard series 2 box set plus a special lenticular card of Dalek Sec

The extras so far look pretty nice with deleted scenes from all episodes ( my favourite is the one about The Doctor not being able to say fantastic anymore) as well as out takes. There is also a short video diary by Billie Piper.

Commentaries for The Christmas Invasion and New Earth are present with the Christmas Invasion being an Inview commentary with a small square showing whoever it is talking watching the episode while the rest of the screen is taken up by the actual episode.

I've only checked out disc 1 so far but one thing already puzzles me. The Children in Need special is an extra that i was glad to gave for completions sake but when i watched it, it appears that they have changed the soundtrack?

When the Doctor tries to convince Rose that its him and talks about shop window dummies the flavia theme has been replaced by something that really is no where near as good, also some of the sound effects dont appear to be there anymore, and whether the new music was trying to drown it out or not i couldnt hear the cloister bell anymore.

Apparently the soundtrack and sound effects have been changed. No one really knows why, although it's probably because it was a charity thing and there have been rights issues with releasing them in the past (that's why we will never get Dimensions in Time, for which anyone who hasn't seen it should be thankful).
