Complete rubbish, but still better than Timelash.

I found this episode to be a tour de force - the longer format does, and always has suited Doctor Who. The plot was a bit all over the place, and the revelation at the end (who the hell were those people, anyway?) was a shock, but upon repeat viewings becomes a bit more obvious.

Oh, what am I saying! It was a mess. Complete filler, a shambles, nothing coherent or interesting for the whole thing. This season, which started so well, has gone rapidly downhill.

Still better than last week, though.

Probably done so Ireland doesn't have to host it again.

I thought Doctor Who had done it better beforehand in Bang-Bang-a-Boom!. McCoy's Doctor was more suited to the zany atmosphere than Tennant's, which the production team obviously realised and therefore kept Tennant off-screen for the entire episode.

I didn't watch it, and never do, so I feel especially competent to rate it.

Worst. Music. Ever.

Ugly costumes, farcical acts.

Appalling voices (but still better than Catherine Tate. Come to think of it, the costumes were better than Catherine Tate's).

Ken and Barbie were really bad at reading an English Auto Cue, not to mention their own language <insert language here>.

Bad jokes, too much smoke, lousy special effects, cheap CGI, (or was that Ken and Barbie again)?

Went overtime, I think it's still going, and what sort of a countdown to Armageddon was that anyway? What does Pottsylvania have to do with it? Where were Boris and Natasha? Oh... Ken and Barbie again.

At least the UK did better than expected. If you call Ireland by the Gaelic name of "Expected".

That's gets the good bits out of the way... Now for what I DIDN'T LIKE!
