| One of the most popular Doctor Who monsters, it claims. I think that's a bit of an exaggeration! |

| So the Ood are coming back. I wonder if Matt Jones will write the story again, or not. And if it claims that they're one of the most popular Doctor Who monsters, then they definitely are exaggerating. |

"A weird and wonderful alien planet..."
I think the appropriate response here is "FINALLY!". |

Is it weird and wonderful the way the Ood are one of the most popular alien monsters? (or the way New Earth is a weird and wonderful alien planet?) Sadly, there's noncutting through the media-release-ese to see anything real about the story... |

That's true... I'm being delusionally optimistic. Although, the Ood are one of the most popular alien monsters... do you remember that "Top Ten Monsters" poll they ran a while ago? Except it was only New Series? So, erm, Chloe's Dad came 10th? I think the Ood were pretty high up there (beneath, obviously, the Daleks and Cybermen). |

| If they were to bring back Davros, I don't see why they couldn't use Terry Molloy... his voice is still perfect (I, Davros!) and his face is obscured by a mask anyway. Plus, he's the best Davros of them all (is this fan sacrilege, me saying this?). |

Well, I hope they fare better than they did last time...
So the Doctor chose to save one Human, instead of a group of Ood. That choice just doesn't stack up - mathematically or morally. |
