Have a laugh here, as author Keith Topping explains what people really mean when they post various phrases about the new series of Doctor Who.
And then possibly get embarrassed about the ones you have used personally...

| Yeah, I saw this thread on Outpost. Very amusing, and often absolutely true. |

The only mention of Tegan and it has to be in conjunction (oops, bad choice of words) with Gary Glitter.
I'm going to my room to sulk. |

“I felt that Story X was a bit weak.”
Why am I not producing this show? And directing it? And writing it? And why am I not playing the Doctor and/or his assistant?
hmmmm this is soooo familiar with many fans I've met and I don't want to sound like I'm being demeaning cuz I'm not
"A typical fan" (cynical viewpoint.)
An anally-retentive, socially inept, sexually immature sheep.
"A typical fan" (slightly more positive viewpoint.)
An enthusiastic (if occasionally a bit scary), reasonably intelligent and well-read type with a fun outlook and a thirst for adventure. But also, an anally-retentive, socially inept and sexually immature sheep.
"A typical fan" (sexual orientation viewpoint.)
Fifty percent probability that they're gay. Unless they're - aggessively - not. In which case, they almost certainly are, they just haven't got around to telling their parents or friends yet. And, also, an anally-retentive, socially inept, sexually immature sheep. |
