Finished Part 1 of the Big Finish two part story Her Final Flight featuring the Sixth Doctor and Peri. This was originally free to Big Finish subscribers in December 2004 when the Eighth Doctor story The Next Life was released. Her Final Flight was subsequently sold commercially to non-subscribers like me.
The story takes place sometime after the Sixth Doctor and Peri parted company in Mindwarp but before the Doctor met Evelyn in another Big Finish story The Marian Conspiracy.
In Her Final Flight, the Doctor is reunited with Peri who is now almost two decades older from the last time that she saw the Doctor and something strange is going on in the planet that they met up in.
Having listened to Part 1 so far, I have to say that I am very glad that this story got made as I like many other fans have been dissatisfied with the way that Peri was written out of the classic series and Her Final Flight so far is very intriguing and look forward to see how the story is concluded. |

| Well if you're dissatisfied with how she was written out on tv, I don't think you'll be overly impressed with the way this one turns out. |

| Finished the second and concluding episode and you are right was not too impressed with how it turned out. |
