I'm coming to the opinion that, given that Torchwood is/was a xenophobic racist jingoistic organisation, the staff that died in AoG/DD deserved what they got - in fact Cyber-conversion was merciful compared to the punishment i think they should have got

I... thought you were going to talk about something completely different when I read this thread title.

They were more like Daleks than Cybermen to begin with, really. Cyberisation sort of would have negated their nasty qualities to an extent, but also would have removed all personality, which is also a bit nasty. Hmm. It's an interesting point.
