Third episode of the second season of the Eighth Doctor New Adventures from Big Finish. Broadcast on BBC7 on November 2 2008.

The best episode of the season so far as it was very good in displaying the mystery of the town that the Doctor and Lucie found themselves in.
This eventually leads to the revelation of returning monsters which is the first time they have been used on Big Finish. I for one had no idea it was going to be them and I was taken aback by it.
The Doctor mentioned Marco Polo and of course the Doctor had met him in the 1964 serial bearing the famous explorer's name.
The suggestion of the Doctor being made a scientific adviser is of course something very familiar to long time Doctor Who fans.
Finally the episode brought back memories of Bryan Adams' Everything I Do song which was the song for Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves as both are mentioned here.
Everything I Do was the number one song in 1991 (which was my worst year which I won't elaborate here).

Beyond The Vortex: Everyday Is Like Sunday:
Interesting on recounting the popularity of Everything I Do as I said before it certainly brought back memories for me.
The original title of the episode was revealed which had to be changed because as Nick Briggs pointed out Doctor Who fans was going to figure out in three seconds of who was going to be in it.
Interesting that Nick Briggs says that the episode was about the crisis of identity. Brave New Town certainly conveyed that message very well.
Derek Griffiths (Jason) wanted to do the Dalek voices (although they were not in Brave New Town) but amusingly Briggs said that he couldn't because Briggs himself was doing them.
