This was picked up at DoctorWhoNews.com in the This Week in Doctor Who page:
According to the Science Fiction South Australia (sfsa) website a buyer has been found for The Sarah Jane Adventures:
BBC Worldwide has sold the first two seasons of the series to Nickelodean Australia.

This report was posted on that site by Martin who I am guessing is Martin Dunne who is a member of this forum.

Wasn't the ABC going to air SJA as well? I'm hoping they still plan to as I don't have pay so if it's a pay-only show I'll be missing it, much like I will be Torchwood. Sad

I also think it's a pity to not air the SJA on free-to-air. It's a show largely aimed at children, and so many families cannot afford pay TV.

According to an email response to a fan the ABC never had the rights to any of the Doctor Who spin-offs.
