If you are like me and you have only recently seen V - The Mini-Series and the full fledged series that followed, you will be interested to know that a sequel V: The Second Generation is being planned with certain members of the original cast expressing interest in the project:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V_%28The_Second_Generation%29

However it is only a sequel to the original mini-series and disregards the second mini-series Final Battle and the full fledged series.

According to IMDb The Second Generation is slated for broadcast next year.

I loved the original mini series, and feel it stands up really well today. As a kid I loved the TV series, though it has not aged well.

The fact that Johnson is on board bodes well for this new production -I've just finihsed reading a really good interview with him in SFX.
