What's your favourite story in Jon Pertwee's farewell season?

Another case where something makes a story special to me - Death to the Daleks, the first time I saw any Who in colour.

The Time Warrior for me. Loved the first Sontaran story, and the introduction of Sarah Jane Smith. The medieval setting is quite enjoyable too. Lots of good things in this one - too many to remember them all, but the robotic knight is a favourite. Pertwee was in fine form too, as the man of action. Great stuff.

Invasion of the Dinosaurs. If you can look past the terrible models this is a great story (preferred it as a novel though)

The Time Warrior is my choice. The rest of the season is pretty weak in my view.

Planet Of The Spiders. A regeneration story that sticks in my memory.

Invasion of the Dinos for me. Wonderful, wonderful story.

Trivia: Almost all the main supporting cast have been in other episodes of the show. Grover was in Underwater Menace, Whitaker was in Silurians and Genesis, the General was in Talons, and Whitaker's sidekick was in Web Planet and Vengence on Varos.

This is a case of choosing from a bad bunch as I really hate the Third Doctor/Sarah pairing therefore Planet of Spiders gets my vote due to Tom's brief appearance at the end.

Well for me it was Death to the Daleks - that first episode scared me to death when I was 6.

Planet of the Spiders, just beating The Time Warrior. The spiders seemed more scary than other monsters of the era, although that may be because I can't stand creepy-crawlies. Pertwee's regeneration scene is very touching, also.
