Which is your favourite story in which Harry Sullivan is an imbecile?
(I hope it's not Terror of the Zygons or The Android Invasion, because you can't vote for those this time!) |

| I've voted against conventional wisdom and for the other great story of the season, The Ark in Space, which I think is the better story! |

Has to be Genesis of the Daleks for me. Whatever might be said of Davros in his successive returns, he was well used in this story, and a great addition - for this story, at least - to the Dalek mythos. This episode also contains one of my favourite of Tom's speeches as the Doctor, when he ponders his right to destroy the Daleks. Always have loved that.

| this is the first season I'm familiar enough with to vote but nothing stands out. Genesis might have been good as a four-parter... |

Genesis of The Daleks by the very slimmest of marginsover the Ark in Space.
Maybe its because I've never seen another Davros story? (Not a fan of the 80's) |

| I keep agreeing with dave in these polls: Genesis of the Daleks for me. Terribly predictable, I know, but it's the best of a good season (best to ignore Robot). |

| Very hard to pick. Because besides Robot I loved all of the stories from this series. But I have to choose so it would be Genesis Of The Daleks |

Personally, this is the first season in the show so far that has not really inspired me. I enjoy Genesis (and could tell before voting that this would be the most popular by far) but I simply don't see what all the fuss is about. Terry Nation is so stuck for ideas that he has to rewrite Dalek history from scratch! I've never understood that.
So Ark In Space gets the vote from me. The forerunner to Alien. I wonder if Ridley Scott was watching? How much better would it have been if they could just turn down the lights!??? I think that's a point Phillip Hinchcliffe makes in the commentary. Speaking of commentary, Tom Baker's involvement in this dvd's commmentary was uninspiring and totally boring! |

Not funny.
It was a toss up between Ark In Space & Genesis but because Tom is getting a flack from his commentary on Ark In Space I easily chose Genesis.
If you are not satisfy with his commentary on Ark In Space try listening to him in the R1 DVD of The Ribos Operation, Androids of Tara & Power of Kroll for those who have a multi-region player. |

| It was a toss-up between Ark and Genesis, but there's something about 6-parters that makes me feel tired. So it's The Ark in Space for me - for showing how much you can do with some bubble-wrap and green spray-paint. The half-Noah, half-Wirrn creature deserves special mention. |

| Genesis of the Daleks, although The Ark in Space deserves plenty of accolades for what it achieved. Genesis is the only story I have seen fit to give 10/10. |

| Revenge of the ... no, not really. The Ark in Space was the first Doctor Who story I ever ever saw, when I was about six, and I got it from a video store. Mum said I probably wouldn't like it but I showed her wrong, eh! Even the Wirrn were scary at that time. |

| Difficult choice. Today I voted Ark in Space, but another day I might vote Genesis of the Daleks. |
