| Just wanted to know what people thought of the new filler for the ABC Wednesday night comedy slot. I myself can't get enough of it. It's so funny! |

I only saw the first episode (missed the one last week), but I like it! Apparently it's written by one of the guys behind Black Books, which means it's automatically excellent.
And considering it revolves around a pair of computer geeks working in a basement, I should think there'll be a Doctor Who reference sooner or later... |

| It's good fun, but isn't it just "Black Books" in a basement? |

Yeah it's pretty good, but as far as the Black Books references go; well it doesn't really stand up to BB. I can't stand the woman in IT Crowd, something about her irritates me a bit |

Did you ever hear the one about .....
IT person gets a phone call one day.
"My computer's coffee holder's broken".
"Sorry, what?"
"My computer's coffee holder's broken".
"What coffee holder?"
"The build in one. It won't come out"
"But computers don't have built in coffee holders .."
"Oh ... what ... oh ... sorry ..." click.
IT person tracks down caller. That's right. The caller had been using the CD-ROM drive as a coffee cup holder ..........
That story however doesn't beat the tale of the user who, after plugging all their new computers bits and pieces into a power board, then plugged the power board into itself, and couldn't understand why it didn't work ..... |
